Buyer’s Push

The Buyer’s Push functionality is part of Manual Replenishment in the LS Replenishment suite.

Buyer's Push assists you in the process of creating Transfer Orders to transfer items from the warehouse to stores or locations. It is assumed that the items are already on stock in the warehouse.

The purchaser has to make the following decisions:

  1. Affected Items
Which items should be transferred from the warehouse to the destination location(s)?
  2. Distribution %
How much of the quantity of the affected item(s) on stock in the warehouse should be pushed to the location(s)?
  3. Allocation Rule
How should the affected quantity of the item(s) in the warehouse be distributed between the locations?

To support the purchaser with the distribution of the quantity of the affected item(s) between the stores, the system provides Allocation Rules. Allocation Rules let you set up the shares between the destination locations by using Store Groups and Stores as entities to put weights. The shares can be set up manually or calculated by the system. For more information on Allocation Rules see Allocation Rule.

You can open the Buyer’s Push page from the Replenishment menu (Departments - LS Retail - Replenishment - Manual).

The following table describes a sequence of tasks with links to the topics that describe them. These tasks are listed in the order in which they are generally performed.
